iMovie would NOT export my 1080i footage taken from my Panasonic HMC-40 out 1080P to Youtube. Makes sense since it is 1080i but... I wanted full 1080 resolution. The solution export via Quicktime and deinterlace.
See? No option via the iMovie “Share” option
